Why should we pray?

Dear friends, in Jesus Christ

Today our father, is telling me to show you the power of prayer, so that when we start praying, we live our lives in prayer.

I tell you what friends, Prayer is our Ammunition, for the Mission that Father has given us, do not have doubt and never forget on who we truly are, we are the Sons and Daughters of Abba Father who lives in heaven and reigns over everything, and that through Christ Jesus, we have peace with Him.

Romans 5-11

And father is asking us nothing more, but to follow his son, you know why?

Because we call ourselves Christians, and Christ told us that if you want to be my disciple, then take up your cross and follow me, and I tell you what friends, there is no Christ without a Cross, and no Cross without a Christ.

Matthew 16-24.jpg

So if you are suffering, if you are hurt, if you are in the slavery of sin, if you are nowhere near God, if you are an orphan, then that is your Cross, identify it, and I tell you friends, that God the father sent his Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ for the atonement of our sins and the sins of the entire world.

You know why?

So that we can be free, that we can live in the true land of the free, the land of meek, the land of God, the Kingdom of God, just to praise him, and bask in his Glory.

Now friends, it is not possible for us, to get faith and to retain that faith you know why? Because we are in a state of sin, Imagine a country where civil war is going on(Country A), and another country which is quite peaceful(Country B), so if any person from country A wants to migrate to country B, will that be possible without the will of country B?

The simple truth is no, similarly, we are of the world, while the Kingdom of God is not of the world, neither for the world, it is for those who of us who are righteous, not by law, but by the grace and grace alone that we have received it from our heavenly father, so that we can have faith in him, and ultimately that we can bear fruit, by transforming our lives as a living testimony of Jesus Christ our King and savior.

The purpose of prayer is nothing more but to have conversation with God, it’s as simple as that.

Always remember that, there is no great prayer than the Holy Eucharist, if prayed with heart soul and in spirit. For it there where we sit like Apostles of Jesus Christ, for it there that our Rabbi our God our King sits with us, and breaks the bread, the bread of life, and lifts up the cup, the cup of the blood divine.

That is the place where we have communion with Jesus, and have with communion with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Please for one stance do not think that “I’m saved by grace, and I have faith in God, and hence my work is finished.” No friend no, father is calling you and me, through Jesus, to build his Kingdom, to be Fishers of Men,  by our names, like he called me Abraham, Go be the fishers of Men, bring me to them.

Today friends, let’s not waste time, in hours of prayer said not from the heart.

For we know now that father has called us. Called us to be free, and yet when we are in sin, we are the slaves of those whom father has given to be masters of.

There is no bigger truth than the fact that God loves you and me more than anything in this world, and he wants us to be saved.

  • Keep in mind what St Paul was inspired to write in Romans 8:31-39
Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Friends, today I’m in a state where I rejoice the fact that yes there is hope for all, but I’m saddened by the fact that so many of my brothers and sisters are in enslaved by the world, by sin.

In my heart all I can do is pray for you, friends, that you can pray to father, and believe not in my works for I do not have any, but believe in what the love of Christ can do, for father is with him and he is with father, and we are with father, through our amazing King, Jesus Christ.

Lastly, I want to end here saying that every prayer is a promise on both part, ours because we tell God that we will acknowledge His Holy Name every day, and God’s part because God will send his angels, to be with us, and the spirit to lead us.

So now you know why you should pray? Go now, kneel down in front of, the alter of mercy and surrender yourself, tell all the things that you want to say to him. For when you are weak before God, he will make us strong in him, and thus by his works we will be saved.

I’m not afraid to say that I’m saved, it’s your time. Go now; choose to live your life in God’s might.
