My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ
Greetings, I thank the Lord, our God in the beginning for showing me the way that I can show it you, for it is God who is speaking to you, not me, for who am I? I do not ask you to believe in me, or in my writings, all I ask you is to believe in God, the Almighty.
For to all who believes, God is everything, For who doesn’t, God is nothing.
So yesterday God showed me something very interesting, which I am overjoyed to share with you all.
Now Christianity is religion which is 2.4 billion strong, making it the world’s largest religion, formed by Jesus Christ, followed first by the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ, and now by us.
Now what do you mean by the word Christian?
It means “Follower of the Anointed” and we know “Christ” means the “Anointed” in Greek (Khristos). So basically “A Christian is a person who is a follower of Christ, Jesus Christ.”
And the most important thing of Christianity is that its “The Way” for salvation, a path for our own life, that following that, we will be following God’s commandments, and we be God’s chosen people.
So its not a one day, one month, one year act. Everyday is a new challenge, everyday is a new battle for us, to choose the creator or the created, provided if we choose to be keep commandments of the Creator, he will grant us grace, abundant grace. Grace to know him more, and what more do we want other than that, but to know him in his own ways, in his own time?
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” – John 1:12-13
Technically speaking, we became Christian when we were Baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Spirit, because that is the time when we became the Child of God, now when we received Holy Communion, we became stronger in faith, because from then, on every Holy Eucharist which we have attended it was Jesus of Nazareth who broke the Bread with us, the Bread of life, His own flesh, and in Confirmation, we received the Holy Spirit, so that we can become His Apostles to share the Good news.
But leaving all technicalities aside, a person becomes a Christian, when he or she accepts in their life, that God the Father is the greatest Creator, that God the Son is the greatest Savior, and that God the Spirit is the greatest Guide.
No please don’t get me wrong, I in no way saying that the Sacraments are not important, all I’m saying is that one is dependent on the other, if we receive the sacraments, but we have not accepted God in our life, we are no Christian, similarly if we have accepted God, but rejected his only Church, his Only sacraments, then we are no Christian.
Jesus said “If you love me, keep my commands.” John 14.15
And as followers of the Anointed One, I suppose we do not follow him out of anything other than love, is that right friends?
So He gave us two commandments, Yes only two, which actually covers the all the laws and commandments.
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” – Matthew 22:37
Jesus said to Peter, that I will build my church, upon you, that church which is not Roman Catholic nor Protestant nor the Methodist nor the Mormon church. It is the Catholic Church.
Just that you know, let me tell you what does the word “Catholic” means. In Greek the word “Katholikos” means “Universal” and from there it was translated to English as we know today, Catholic.
Now you must have this question why I said this that there was only one Church, the Catholic Church in the beginning not the 40,000 so on denominations? Am I just a stupid Catholic who is defending his faith, or am I someone whom the God is guiding to tell you the truth?
To answer your question we have take a leap into the books of History, and search for the person named IGNATIUS OF ANTIOCH who was a direct disciple of John the Apostle and in one of his letters to the “Smyrnaeans” (Those who used to live in Smyrna at that time) he said, I quote “See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude [of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. It is not lawful without the bishop either to baptize or to celebrate a love-feast; but whatsoever he shall approve of, that is also pleasing to God, so that everything that is done may be secure and valid.”
Now let me a question, if the “Catholic“is the “Name of the Church“, The “Church of Jesus Christ“, and as you see now that the word “Catholic” itself which means “Universality” do you still want to believe that there is something outside the “Universal” one that is applicable to all followers of the anointed, the Christians?
If you still have doubt I can give you example, that when we were small in our school they used to teach us, Universal truths like “The Sun rises in the East” now if not by God, can this be changed by us? And say, Oh no! I declare that the Sun rises in the West!!!, and even if we do that will that change the truth? Will that make the Sun to rise in the West? I mean how funny is that?
The truth will always be the truth, because it is the truth, and a truth cannot be a lie, capiche?
So friends, I urge you not to believe in any men, but God, and when you believe God, you will know which people says the truth and who’s eyes are just blinded by the world. And when you will know them, those who does not speak the truth, the world of God, I do not ask you to condemn them, because their sin are nothing but that they are blind, and Jesus said hate the sin, not the sinner, and pray that one day they can see the light of the world, Jesus Christ.
This is to fulfill what is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4 “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
So embed this in your heart friend, Christian = Catholic, all the others are blind, they are simply blind friend.
And in absence of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in flesh, he has given us a Vicar, a living representative of Jesus Christ, the Pope, for he is God’s anointed. To love the Lord first we need to Love that seat of that power, of that authority, which God has granted him, for if God didn’t think he was capable, he could had him removed as he removed Saul and replaced him with David as the King of Israel remember? (If you do not know the story, click on it)
So to Love the Lord, first we need to love our Pope, and all the teachings that are being laid down by that seat of authority.
And also we need to pray, we need to meditate on God’s words and obviously be open to the Spirit, that it can lead us, wherever the Lord wants us to go, to do whatever the Lord wants us to do.
A new command I give you: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34
Now this is the part where everybody fails, even I did. We can see what true love is in 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 (If you do not know just click on it)
So basically if we love one another but do not love God, then we are just a social worker, waiting to be faded away by the wind, because one cannot truly love anyone if they are not born again into Christ, who is pure love. Again if we are deeply embedded into the scriptures, the book of law, but we do not know how to love one another, then we are just pharisees, and hypocrites. To be truthful, I was one, so I do not feel ashamed to say that to you, because it was Jesus who gave me a new life, who made me new again.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.- Mark 16:16
One who believes in God the Father, who created this universe, the Son Jesus Christ, who has redeemed us, and the Spirit, which leads us, and One who believes in all the saints and angles of the Lord, is a Christian. Now I mentioned the saints and angels because they are chosen by God they are anointed by God, and they are sent to us by God so if we do not believe in them, we do not believe in God.
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. Psalm 40:1-3
And one who waits patiently for the Lord, to come and touch them, to save them or simply to fulfill his promises, is a Christian. To say it in a better way, we can say that a Christian is the one who have faith in God’s timing. Look into the Bible, Abraham, Moses, the Israelite all of them waited, patiently for the Lord.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20
One is a Christian because he is called to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ, that he or she can live in the was of Jesus Christ, and that Jesus Christ can live in him or her, not only through words but also through action. Thus not only he or she can preach the Gospel, the Good New by the Word of God, to others but also that they can live accordingly.
Thus completes the Journey called Christianity, because this is what God intended (when he created the world) and what God inspired (written by the words of the Prophets) and what God lived (When Jesus Christ fulfilled all the prophesies that was written about him).
Now Christianity is at the center of these 4 axis, its in the intersection of all these truths. And if and only if one does all the 4 then only we become worthy to be call ourselves “Christians”, for being a Christian is a privilege, a free gift from God. Now if we fail to accept these truths and if we faitl to live like Jesus Christ we are just importers in the name of Christianity. But friends do not be disheartened for this religion is founded on the base of Love and love comes through forgiveness and God knows, that we are human and that we have limitations, and that the devil always tries to tempt our minds and our lives, so also he has given us the sacrament of reconciliation, that we can feel sorry for our sins, and tell it to God, and turn away from our sins and again be a Christian.
So friends now you know why Christianity is not a religion, but a way for life? So friends, did God answer all your questions of faith till now through me or not? If he did, give him thanks, for he is worthy of all praise and honor.
To end today’s letter I want to show you something, that do You know, everything has a price? I mean our sins had one too, that is the Blood of Jesus Christ. which actually he shed on the cross so that we may live, with him, in him, through him.
Remember the Story how God led Israel from the bondage of slavery from the so called God King, the Pharaoh Ramses? (If you do not just click on it to know about it)
In the new testament, the same things happens, and again in our lives the same thing happens, that Devil/Satan or whatever you want to call that evil spirit, tries to be our fake God King, tries to bound us into the slavery of sins, that we cannot live free, that in the mean time, we forget who the real God is.
But then Jesus Christ comes to die for us, that we can be purchased by his blood from Satan, that we can attain freedom from our sins, from the fake God King, to live in the free will of God the father in union with the Son, Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God which is Holy.
Now, God works through us and in us, to perform Miracles, which is not always external, which is not always for others, but its at first, is also for ourselves which we seldom realize. Miracle by which we become free, free from the fear of anything else but God, free from death, free from hatred, jealousy, free from anxiety, depression, doubts, anger, calamities, free from anything that is taking away the peace that dwells in us away, even free from any sins that we are still doing.
God is with us, and he has given us the ways the commandments, that by following which we can get into the Kingdom of Heaven, the promised land, the land of peace, the one that is written in Revelations 21 (Don’t be afraid to click it) now who doesn’t wants to be free? Who doesn’t wants to take the free gift which God has given us 2000 years ago?
Only a madman would do such thing when God did so much for him.
